To Request a Closing
Scheduling
a closing date (firm or tentative) with Atlantic Home
Loans is straightforward.
A tentative
closing date can be scheduled at any time by contacting the Closing
Department. Let the Closing Department know which loan you would
like to close and that closing will be "penciled-in" for
that date. As we get closer to the tentative date, we will
work together to make that date. We would like all of our
loans to be cleared to close 24 hours before the closing but, with
exceptions, all file conditions (see 1-4 below) must be cleared by
10:30 am of the proposed day of closing.
A firm
closing date/time requires that the following items have been
completed
:
1. The file is
cleared by underwriting
2. Title has been
reviewed and cleared
3. Homeowners
Insurance reviewed and cleared
4. Payoff of the
existing loan received (if FHA Streamline)
